彼は幼い頃からコミックス（漫画）に影響され、様々なアートに興味を持ち、絵を書き始めた。
特にストリートアートと広告からの影響は大きい。
幼少期はロックやファンク、ジャズが好きで、今もその音楽が彼の作品に影響を与えている。（ユワンのペイントにはそのリズムとエネルギーが表現されている。）
ビジュアルコミュニケーションを勉強した後、様々なアート表現（音楽、グラフィック、デザイン等）を試み、最終的にたどり着いたのがペインティングだった。現在は、画家として作品を作り続ける毎日の中、イラストレーターとしても活動を行っている。
彼が書くコミカルなロボットやモンスターは破壊的な熱狂を表していて、特に彼が好きなテーマーは「街」と「夜の誘惑」。
合同展示会をいくつかこなし（「the Galerie Artmateur」(Tours, december 2007)）、Ipse Project (Tours, july 2008)では初の個展をひらいた。
Ewanは今世界でももっとな芸術の街、ベルリンに暮らし文化と教育的活動をしている。
彼は今までにGeorges Mathieu, Keith Harring, Jean-Michel Basquiat 又は Jackson Pollockといった様々なアーティストから影響をうけている。



Lulled in his childhood by comics, Ewen began drawing very early and was interested in all kind of arts. He was particulary inspired by street arts and advertising. As a teenager, he was ond of rock, funk and jazz musics and these musical tastes appear now clearly in his artistic creation : his paintings reproduce the rhythm and the energy which caracterize these musics. After studying visual communication, he tried different artistic paths (music, graphism, design …), which finally led him to painting. Since then, Ewen has been putting himself completely into painting and now turns also towards illustration. His production has become very prolific. He is strongly influenced by artists such as Georges Mathieu, Keith Harring, Jean-Michel Basquiat or Jackson Pollock, graphically and intellectually speaking. His monsters and giant robots, althrough sketched in a humoristic way, are an allegory of the destructive madness. The city and his nightly temptations are among his favourite subjects.After several collective exhibitions, among them the one at the Galerie Artmateur (Tours, december 2007), Ewen has realised his first personal exhibition in a space dedicated to creation and design, Ipse Project (Tours, july 2008). Ewen now lives and works in Berlin, where he merges with one of the most important european artistic place and he participates to both educative (introducing painting to young autistic children) and cultural projects.

Delphine Maillardは17歳で「Guarana」というトリオを共同設立し、音楽活動を始める。その後、ジャズスクールに通い「Olivie Carole」のもとで学ぶ。2006年にはエレキベースとアクスティックベースのデュオ「エルフィ」を共同設立。2007年には「Laudine Lemance」と共に「Lilies and Daffodils」を作り、オリジナルの曲を演奏する。2008年の終わりにはベルリンに移住しソロ活動を始める。現在はフランス語と英語でのジャズポップをベースに作曲作詞、そして演奏も行っている。


At the age of 17, Delphine Maillard co-founds Guarana, a jazz/rock power trio (cello, bass, drums). She decides to entirely turn to music and follows courses at the school Jazz ‡ Tours with in particular Olivier Carole as a bass teacher. In 2006, she co-founds Elfy, an electric and acoustic bass duo. In 2007, she creates, with Laudine Lemancel, the duo Lilies and Daffodils and plays both standards and compositions. She has moved in Berlin at the end of 2008 and has started performing solo: she plays and sings her own compositions in English and French and re-arranges jazz and pop standards.
